I’ve been from Maine to Texas.
I’ve searched from coast to coast
For the country on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post.
On every road I traveled,
In all the places I passed through,
I saw the faces of America that Norman always knew.

Norman Rockwell is one of America’s greatest and most beloved painters. He is known for his sympathetic portrayals
of family relationships, emotions, hopes, dreams and expectations. Some of his most famous paintings deal with social issues
such as racism and international relations. His painting, "Golden Rule," is on display at the United Nations. Much of his
work is permanently housed and exhibited at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Joe Manning and singer Steve Vozzolo wrote "Norman Always Knew" a few years ago and played it for the Norman Rockwell Museum. Staff
members at the museum were thrilled with the song, and soon they were able to interest Arlo Guthrie to record it and release
it as a single, and also perform it at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts. Since then, Vozzolo and Manning have written close
to 20 songs that have been inspired by Rockwell’s paintings.
Those songs now appear together on All The Colors Of The World, Steve Vozzolo’s haunting and unique concept
album. This beautifully produced collection, written in a timeless Americana style (pop, rock, folk, country, gospel
and swing) is destined to become a classic. Vozzolo performs with a group of world-class studio musicians. The CD includes
a beautifully designed, full-color 12-page booklet of lyrics, plus 21 of Rockwell's best-loved images. And a special
limited edition, with Rockwell’s legendary self portrait on the cover, is currently available.
